Google - deleting old searches

How do you delete old searches on the url bar from google? I have deleted the old searches on the automatic drop down list on the google main search box by highlighting the old search keyword and click delete.

However this method won't allow me to delete the searches the same way on the url bar.

Try this

Control Panel

Internet options

And then Clear History (you can also set a number of days the computer keeps the pages for)

In fact anything that you need to delete re URL searchs, etc can be deleted from there
