5 ac Bent copper, very overdrawn? C_R_E_ I keep thinking the answer must be CURVED but that would make the wordplay of very overdrawn (VRED) the wrong way round. Is there another explanation or have I got the wrong answer? All help greatly appreciated.

Bent = Curved.....Copper= CU. RVED (Very od ) <<
I would say curved ..V ..very Red .Very overdrawn ..in the red !

Thanks to all - I tried curvey but it isn't spelt like that (unfortunately!!) - I think it must be curved with V in the Red as Shaneystar2 and Kayakamina say.

Yes I thought that I was just working from the clue - thought about the spelling afterwards. Nevermind :-)
