Sound on DVD Recorder.

I am having trouble during Playback with occasional muffled sound. Could this possibly be because of inferior Scart leads or does any priced Scart lead suffice? Many Thanks for any replies.

a cheap scart lead is unlikely to cause this - try using a DVD player head cleaner
