Which is the best way to do this? Do i get the first roll in the centre or find the centre line then paper out to the edge? thanks .

I would start at the point nearest the window and work in a direction going away from the window.

Otherwise the joins will be clearly visible in sunlight.

If this really is not an issue for you, then yes - from the centre outwards.
