This has kinda become it's own current affairs story within AB. Strange. But anyway...

OK, so I admit that the title is a hyped-up attention-grabber. But why did they edit my views on Shakespeare in the "Why so anti-English" question? Anyone explain? The editor in question perhaps?

NH, Honest twas not me gov. Perhaps it had something to do with your first line. `Sorry. But has anyone got a union flag and a lighter....anyone?` or was this your hyped-up attention grabber title?

I have massive issues with answerbank's editorial policies, or rather lack of them. It makes the site less of a serious forum, and more of a chat room, the way it's run.
I've had things completely removed ( by the Editor) that were neither graphic, offensive or profane and frankly it just seems to be whether you get up her nose or not :)
Seems to me that sometimes it's a case of fascists editing fascists. There have been occasions when AB appears more like a Hitler Youth rally than a discussion forum.

Hey, all I wanted to do was point out that Shakespeare was a **** writer...and then mock someone's question with the Union Flag and lighter gag. OK, so it's not a classic by my standards...
