I am looking into decorating my conservatory. Can anybody tell me what is the psychology behind having wicker or cane furniture. I admit, such adornments are there now as it was the done thing. But why?

There are uncomfortable, a fire hazzard, flimsly, collect dust and not priced much less than normal furniture.

Is it wrong to put a nice Chesterfield in a conservatory, and why do people still buy cane stuff?

Only chavs have cane stuff and conservatorys wardy old boy, how's yours?
The best place to release them is under the duvet, so when you feel a bout coming on, tighten your cheeks, grab a Bud from the fridge and rush upstairs. Open an Agatha Christie, seal the covers, and go for it !
The hole is getting deeper....
Good, then we can bury the c**t
My aunt has an enormous conservatory which she uses as her lounge ~ it is L shaped and accomodates her chesterfield suite, plasma TV, log burning fire etc.

It looks divine.

I have never liked cane furniture.
