But did thought kill curiousity? I dont think it did, but my brother is adamant that this is a saying.
Can anyone confirm hes talking rubbish???

I've never heard that before. Have you heard
"Curiosity killed the cat:
Satisfaction brought it / him back"

Aint heard that before, but here's a favourite:
