er... is it a video player? otherwise dvd won't work.

Still trying to find a decent format converter to get movies onto my phone (you'll need a simliar bit of software). Tried winAVI 3gp converter, but I'm apparently lacking codecs and can't find the bloody things anywhere. Anyone enlighten me? or suggest a decent one?

Most DVD players should also play .mp3 (audio)

Not quite sure what you mean here.....? Do you want to use a data DVD stuffed full of mp3 s?? Because you can do that too.
