The four corresponding words to Saturday's Telegraph GK xword are:

POISE
PARADE
RAIL
TOWER

making ANGLEPOISE, VICTORY PARADE, TOWEL RAIL AND TOWER HAMLETS.

Hope an AB got all four.

Wow! Got 2 and think I was first with angle poise!!!!!!!
I haven't checked but think it is most unlikely bearing in mind the obscurity of Angle Poise .
I e-mailed these links to crofter earlier this morning so that he could make a start on the points system etc .......
a mammoth task in itself!
Detailed analysis now available.

No-one got 4 out of 4 but three got 3 out of 4!
Arabesque - I tried to find you to get you to change your RAILWAY. If you had changed it to TOWEL RAIL (the obvious switch) you would now had 4 points and in with a chance!

Good morning crofter - I think it was too early in the morning on Saturday for my brain to be working properly! Perhaps I'll get all 4 right this Saturday. Thanks for all the hard work collating results. Well done ABs who got 3 correct.
