hi i was just wondering if there is a law about children sharing a bedroom with parents?
me and my partner live in a 1 bedroom flat, we have a young son who is 19 months old. i would just like to know if this is allowed?

Yes it is allowed. There are a lot of families living in overcrowded homes.

According to housing law rules laid down in 1935, a child aged 1 to 10 counts as half a person and a baby counts for nothing. A living room counts as a bedroom.

So, you are not technically overcrowded.
My Dad had 12 siblings in a two bed cottage!
You could always do what I did when I ws in a one bedroom flat with 2 kids...get a sofa bed & sleep in the lounge :o)
