Put ham cooked in coca cola in your search bar. Click on the Nigella.com website. It seemed a bit difficult going straight from her website, but maybe that was just me.
Busy - here is the recipe on the Coca-Cola website. We have been doing it here in the USA for years and years - not me personally - I like mine with no glaze at all.

Coca-Cola Ham
 ham (5-6 lb.)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Coca-Cola
1 cup crushed pineapple (optional)

Wash ham thoroughly. Rub fat side with brown sugar. Pour Coca-Cola over ham. Pour crushed pineapple over ham. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 hours. Makes 6 servings.
This is a great recipe and keeps the ham very moist.

i followed nigellas recipe last year ... it was loverly even though it sounds vile
Simplify your recipe.

Start off by just using Cola and nothing fancy. That way you can experience the taste of Cola Ham with no trimmings.

Score the fat side of your joint about 2 cm deep then pierce the other side. Take one 2Ltr bottle of the sweetest Cola you can buy (I prefer Virgin Cola). Take a large pot, pop your joint in (fat side down). Pour the Cola over the joint (save about 100ml for later). Cover and leave for around 3 hours. Bring to boil on a high heat. Once boiling, turn the heat down to simmer, pop the top on and leave for around 2-2 1/2 hours. Pre heat your oven to around 200c. Once boiled transfer from your pot to a roasting tin (fat up). Cut off any fat and drizzle the Cola you have saved onto the joint. Pop it in the oven for around 15-20 mins. Take out and serve. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!
I have used Nigella's recipe many a time--well worth the effort. It makes the most beautiful tasting ham .It's gorgeous served thick cut with a poached/fried egg and some home-made chips.
Sounds really good.
hiya, i was just reading through a book i have, and it was talking about the ingredient aspartame,

this is found in diet drinks, (and many other foodstuffs)

BUT it did say, that heating this substance up can make it have a chemcial reaction that will make it very dangerous if consumed,

so, just a note of warning that if anyone trys the coke and ham recipie we were talking about, dont use it with diet cola...

the last paragraph of this link has the same info as my book:

http://www.ess.sunysb.edu/tracy/whatis.html

if anyone was to drink/eat "wood alcohol" it is normally called methanol.. and its nasty, its used in weedkiller and paint stripper

I've tried this Coca Cola recipe many times just to make sure - and have decided (family agree) it's a total waste of time and money.

Our favourite Ham liquid is...cider. It's absolutely gorgeous and gives the ham a delicious appley flavour. You must get the pure vintage stuff though and not the Bulmers type of sparkly stuff. Ginger beer is another one to try for a change.
