What is this song. The chorus goes 'LIFE de derrrrrr derrrr derr de LIFE IS LIFE'. That's all I can remember. A friend swears they're a german band and the song is from arouond the mid eighties.

The band is Opus and I think it was from 1985.

Yep, Boognish is right, but the song title was actually "Live is life."

Thank you. Opus was the version I was looking for. I assume they were the original. Laibach do a version too which sounds... very german. Maybe Live is Life is a cover of their Leben heisst Leben. Or vice versa. Opus' version sounds better.
