depends what you like my fave at the moment is morrocan lamb. Diced lamb from tesco, morroccan sachet from Tesco and morrocan cous cous. Serve with sald. it is really nice. So just stick in the oven and thats it really .
As the nights are starting to draw in I love Toad-in-the-hole.
I coat the sausages in mustard then wrap in bacon. Roast with quartered onions for 10 mins then add batter & cook on GM7 for 25 - 30mins.
Complete comfort food heaven!
Cheese and Bean (kind of) Quesadillas

Tin refried beans
1 onion - chopped fine
Salsa
Fresh coriander - chopped fine
Cheddar cheese - grated
Flour Tortillas

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Grease a large Lasagne dish. Heat beans in saucepan. Heat tortillas 1 by 1 in a dry frying pan. Fill tortilla with spoonful of beans, then sprinkle some onions on, then some cheese, then a spoonful of salsa and a sprinkle of coriander. Roll up and place in dish. Repeat for other tortillas. When they are all in dish sprinkle some cheese on top. Sprinkle with water and put in oven for about 15 mins or til they're going brown. Yumm!
Slash some chicken fillets and place them in a tupperware container, then pour on some honey, chopped garlic (push these into the slits of the chicken if you like) and zest and squeeze a lemon over it,. leave in the refridgerator overnight then when you are ready to cook, throw the lot into a roasting pan with some new potatoes, and loosely cover with foil. Cook on med oven for about 40 mins, et voila, yummy lemon and garlic chicken with sort of roasted new potatoes.
Yumm Easy Homemade Burgers

Add 1lb of beef mince in a bowl, a beaten egg, a chopped chilli, finely chopped onion, a crushed garlic clove (or 2!), chopped fresh basil, a tea spoon of mustard and a tea spoon of ketchup.

Mash all the ingredients together and then form into burger shapes on a baking tray and place into a medium-hot over for 7-10 mins.
Another one I like to do that is so easy I don't think it counts!

Buy some wholemeal tortilla wraps and fill with lettuce and chopped peppers and red onion (or cucumber, tomato, whatever!), dry pan fry sliced chicken with some garlic, then add it to the tortilla wrap with some mayonaise and tomato salsa. Mmmmm.
We all know this is my favorite - I have posted it several times :)

Taco Soup

1 Pound Hamburger (Mince) Browned & Drained
1 Pack Taco Seasoning
1 Can Ro-tel Tomatoes (has jalapeno in it)
(can is the size of a Campbells soup can)
1 Can Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 Can Corn Whole Kernel
1 Can of Water

(You can also add carrots, peas, white beans, potatoes - just any vegetable you like best.)
Mix together & cook until it looks/smells done - although everything is already cooked - so you COULD eat it as soon as it gets hot. You can also put it in a crockpot/slow cooker.
After you put it in your bowl taste it, it is great that way and less fattening then put a big blob of sour cream in it and mix it up then taste it again.
Garnish with black olives, cheese, onions, chives whatever makes you happy.
I multiply the recipe (with less meat and more corn - just a personal preference) and freeze containers of it to pop in the microwave to thaw and heat later.

ah thanks everyone.all sounds lovely. Bbwchatt-is your recipe ok without the kidney beans in?my bf doesn't like them.think i'm going to try the morrocan lamb first. i LOVE lamb.
Oh sure imajenarry - you can leave out the kidney beans and substitute pinto or white beans - I have never tried it without ANY beans at all - but it is a VERY flexible and forgiving recipe so that might work too - I always tell people to change it and make it their own like I did when they gave it to me!!!
AND here's a really easy dessert recipe I invented myself - I am not a very good cook - so when I invent something it is ALWAYS quick and easy.

Bs Cherry Pie

Put everything in the fridge and let it get cold - yes even the Cherry Pie Filling.

1 - Graham Cracker Crust
1 can Cherry Pie Filling (chilled in the fridge)
1 pack Jello Instant Pudding Cheesecake Flavor

Mix up the pudding I usually use a little less milk than the directions say pour it in the crust. Put in the fridge until it sets up 5 minutes or more.
Spoon on the Cherry Pie Filling and spread it out.
You can decorate the top with Cool Whip if you want to but it doesnt need it for the taste.
BBWCHATT - your recipes sound SOOOOO good.....

But
Can someone tell me the UK equivalant of Graham Crackers??
Thank you very much La Diva - I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I am not really sure what you guys call graham crackers - here they are rectangular with scores to break them in half and then in half again - they are kind of a brownish color and are sweet. The pie crust is one that is already made in a foil pan with a plastic cover - right next to the cookie crumb and shortbread cookie crumb pie crusts. All you do is open them up and pour stuff into them to make your pie. This link will let you look at the graham crackers and the graham cracker crust - look at the 3rd from the bottom on the right and the bottom on the right and click on those 2 to read about them please:
