Reprograming key fob

Does anyone know how to reprogram a Ford Fiesta key fob to the car, year 2000 reg, so that the remote central locking works? It broke once before and all the guy did was put the key in the ignition and turn it a few times...?

Turn key to position II five times - you will hear a chime ( light by clock comes on ) - press one of the key fob buttons. Turn key to position II and that should re-programme the key fob.

It says its for mondeo, but fiestas are the same (it worked on my sister's 99 model).
