Don't know about Jewish chefs but we have had some very strange food served up as bacon when visiting Muslem countries I can't decide whether the beef bacon or one indiscriminately labelled poultry was the worst. The jury is still out on that one.By the way we don't go out looking for English food these were things served up as a regular breakfast
It really depends on whether the Jewish person is observant and how observant. If they are really trying to remain Kosher in all things, then the answer is no. To cook or even bring into the house such food contaminates the home/kitchen and it must be ritually cleansed before use again...

Also will a christian or any civilised person plunge a live lobster in to boiling water?? The practice disgusts me!!
Sorry that is a question not an answer!!
Ratter - we Christians have a unique way of justifying what we want or need to do - if you do it and I find it disgusting then it is wrong, wrong, wrong - if I do it then I will have found a way to justify it to make it right in my own mind:)
Yep! that sounds about right lol
i suppose, that if htey refused under religious beliefs they wouldnt have a job for long?
