Aldwych?
Knightsbridge. Strictly speaking, the 'y' in 'Aldwych' is a vowel just as the 'y' in 'hymn, rhythm' and so on is.
Thank you Quizmonster. I know it often substitutes for a vowel but I didn't know whether it counted here.
Andy, 'y' is a consonant when it is used in words such as 'year, youth, yes' etc but a vowel when used in words such as 'rthyme, folly, myrrh' etc. Cheers
