I've been in bed all day and stayed off college cos I've been all bunged up throughout the night, really bad sleep and so on. These eardrops have made it slightly better.
I thought that when something like this happens so much you become immune to it? I've had so many colds in the past. It's really bad this time though.
The problem is that there are hundreds of different strains of cold - which all feel the same to you - so you may develop immunity to one strain but not to the others. You will probably never develop immunity to every strain of the cold.
In the meantime, up your intake of zinc and vitamin C, and take echinacea at the first sign of a cold coming on, it shortens the length and severity of the cold.
Have you tried Vics 'First Defence' which is pretty good. I have taken this at the onset of a cold and it does work. You often see the advert on TV when a child misbehaves and the mother rolls about on the floor mimicking him.
I hate having a cold. You feel like death with gunk coming down your nose (if you are lucky), your ears bunged up and coughing up your lungs.
But we never get any sympathy - "it's just a cold" people say. And there is always some moron who struggles into work infecting everyone.
And my pet hate is the people who never have colds - they always have bad doses of the flu. And they brag that they still managed to struggle into work and keep the company running empty handed.
