Soup! I make carrot and lentil soup. It's one of those that I just chuck all the ingredients in, but something like half an onion, chopped, 4 carrots, chopped, fry in a little oil with a bay leaf, throw in 3 or 4 ounces of lentils and 3/4 pint stock (made with a stock cube), cook for about 15 - 20 minutes, take bay leaf out and stick in blender. Dead easy to make and lovely to eat.
Fresh Broccoli Soup

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 small onion cut in quarters
2 cups broccoli, cut in big chunks
1&1/2 cups chicken broth or bouillon
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, saute onion in butter until onion is limp.
2. Add chicken broth and broccoli. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
3. Place broccoli, onion, and broth in blender jar. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Remove filler-cap from cover to allow steam to escape. Blend on high speed for 5 seconds. Turn blender OFF.
4. Remove cover and check consistency. For a smoother texture, replace cover and Blend on high speed for 5 to 10 seconds. If desired, pour soup back into saucepan to reheat.

Hummous!!
1 tin cooked chick peas, juice of 1 fresh lemon, approx 1 tea -cup olive (or any if you are not fussy) oil (I exchange some for water for a less-fat variety), 2-3 garlic cloves and black pepper.
Pancake batter, yorkshire pudding mix, egg custard mix, anything in fact you'd use a whisk for.
And now that you can use a blender to easily whip the eggs - you could have a nice frittata for Sunday brunch:

Potato and Cheese Frittata
INGREDIENTS
30 ml olive oil
2 large russet potatoes, peeled and shredded
110 g onion, diced
1 dash salt and pepper to taste
70 g shredded Cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Heat oil in a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat. When the skillet is hot, add the potatoes, and fry until crispy and golden, about 15 minutes. Reduce heat to medium, and add onions. Cook, stirring, until softened. Season with salt and pepper. Pour eggs over the potatoes and onions.
Place the skillet in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until eggs are firm. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Return to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
