I'm visiting some friends in Glasgow in a couple of weeks & need a central and quite nice hotel to stay in. I have stayed in Glasgow before but last time it was with a friend, and to be honest I don't remember much about the night (except fabulous chips & gravy at 2am).

I like quite stylish and posh hotels (!) so any recommendations which are ideally suited for a night out in Glasgow would be greatly appreciated!

The Quality Hotel (near to the Central Station) might meet your needs. It's one of the oldest hotels in the city but it's full of modern comforts. You can find it, and lots more possibilities,by following the 'Hotels' link from Glasgow's official website:

I visited Glasgow and stayed in Langs Hotel. If you like stylish, i suspect this is for you.

Rooms are great, beds are on a mezzanine level from the rest of the room - great little touches too. It is really central too, just near Sauchiehall St.

Have Fun....
The City Inn down by the SECC is a nice hotel and is less than 5 mins back into the centre of town.
