A little boat trip from Costa del Sol

Can anyone recommend a good boat trip from somewhere in the Costa del Sol. Just a day out sort of thing. Our friend has wanted to do a boat trip on our last three holidays and so far we've failed her. We'll be staying in Alhaurin (just inland from Malaga) for the first week in October, so will be quite near most of the resorts.

There is a ferry to Melilla from Malaga.This is Spanish Morocco and I believe is well worth a day trip.
