I am sooooo sick of slu+s and i was just wondering if anyone agrees with me. i can't stand it when people think they have to sleep around to be liked. it's so disgusting when they walk around thinking they're hot sh*t. it makes me feel like vomiting. and then they think all the guys like them but really, they just want them for sex. i consider myself to be somewhat attractive (i'm not trying to be cocky) but i know people who are butt ugly that get more guys than me, so they think they're better than me. Well, if you ask me, a girl who respects themselves is a lot more attractive than one who can't keep her legs shut for 5 minutes, no matter how pretty they are and how many guys like them. Does anyone agree?

It's fine for you to disagree ~ obviously you have a different opinion but you have asked if we agree with your opinion.

I take your points, but please don't expect them to change others opinions.

If these friends of yours are having sex with guys in order to get into relationships then they may be going in blinkered. What they should be doing is the same as the guys! I have had one/two/three night stands etc and don't regret a thing because that is what I expected out of the event. I slept with my husband on the first date and we have been together 12 years..and of course I don't regret that either :o)
Hello Bobbikay, you haven't offended me at all, in fact I think it's rather endearing that you hold your views so strongly.I am indeed a happily married 46 year old man with a family who dotes on his wife and I don't engage in recreational sex at all any more. However I once did, it doesn't make me a bad man, nor does it make the girls I slept with slu+s. It makes us adults who have made certain choices about our bodies and who are happy with those choices. Not every man you recreationally sleep with will call you and "ugly *****", you're well away from the likes of him, men like that are bad news. I am on good platonic terms with quite a few women I slept with, life's too short to be nasty to anyone.
If casual sex makes you feel dirty or awkward, then don't do it, but leave others to manage their sex lives as they fit, and no-one can possibly have a problem with you.I think in your earnestness about this you come off as a bit judgemental and rude. I understand that you probably don't intend to, so I'm not in the least offended, but other people might be which will have just the opposite effect to the one you want.
Nice men are everywhere, you just need to look for them and dating isn't a competition, who cares if your freinds have scores of men ( if they are all like the bloke who called you a ***** then you've lost nothing). Relax and eventually the man for you will crop up, in the meantime have a really good think about WHY you consider recreational sex to be wrong. I suspect in your case it's quasi-religious and linked strongly to the way you feel your parents would react to it.I think you've had a one off very negative experience of it, which isn't representative of what the rest of us have expereienced probably. You need to live for yourself, by your own rules whatever they may be, but I suspect over time they will change somewhat. Be happy.
I agree with your principles, although i'f I was a single guy,i'd probably glad that not all girls hold them :) I certainly wouldn'y have a serious relationship with some lass who'd slept with every guy in the pub and their mates.
Even when a teenager,I had to find something attractive about a lass, not just the obvious. You do as you think right
