brown stuff in my fish tank

ok, i have another question about my tank, starting from yesterday i noticed brown spotting in my tank, looks alittle like mould , i used my Mag-float to clean the glass of it, but it is on the filter, plants ect... im worried incase it might harm the fish? any ideas

It wont harm your fish, it just looks unsightly- it's algae, happens all the time in tanks, usually due to overfeeding- lol.

What kind of tank is it? Tropical? Might want to think about getting an algae quaffing fish (providing it's compatible with the other inhabitants!)
