i have got a disc called "netbreeze" to put into my laptop to help connect me to the internet, im away from home and im normally on broadband? when i load the disc it says location? what is that? then it says united kingdm, which is correct? then it asks for area code? do i put that code in where i am now, then it says "dialling rules" followed that ok? Then according to my pc it says that is has loaded ok, it keeps dialing then stays connected for a minute then dials again, it keeps doing that..what am i doing worng? Please help!!!

these answer might seem dumb but make sure ur laptop has a dial up modem. most new laptops doesn't have dial up modems. and make sure ur phone line is hooked up. Sorry if I am being too simplistic but have you actually got a dial up account with the provider? Have you ever established a dial up connection before, from home or anywhere else? Where are you dialling from. If it is a hotel, do you have to put in a prefix before dialling the number?
