This will no doubt be simple for you lot out there but bear in mind this is all new to me !...... I want to save the "versions" of a microsoft word document I have created (invoices to various customers) to floppy disc, how do I go about this ?, I carry on getting messages about formatting discs which is all moon-man language to me, thanks in advance.

Your floppy disc needs formatting first, so put the disk in, go to My Computer and right-click on the A Drive (3 1/2 Floppy). Select Format... and click Start. Once the disk is formatted, then you can go into Word and start saving your versions. Remember to give each version a different filename (e.g. per customer). Good luck!
Floppy discs have to be formatted before they can be used - personally I bring up the DOS prompt and type FORMAT A: (you need to have the disc in the drive when you do this) - there's a way to do it in Windows Explorer too but I don't know how. It'll take a few minutes and then you can save whatever you like on it.
