i have itunes and i like to update it alot cause i am always getting new songs, i like to update itunes but choosen c drive to get everything new so i wont take time downloading songs sepretley but when i do this it doubles the songs i already have on itunes which is really annoying sometimes i have 10 of the same song becasue of this does anyone know how to make itunes download only the new songs and for itunes to work out not to download songs that are already on itunes

i think i know what you're talking about. Go on iTunes iteslf and click edit>preferences>advanced tab ....there is a tick box somewhere which says 'copy files to itunes music folder...' -make sure this box is unticked because if it's ticked then it copies all your audio files into apple's default location,thus giving you loads of the same file..then when it scans your local hard disks for files to list in itunes it will find both the one you have positioned yourself neatly and the one it's tried to oragnise itself but just confuses the situation...have a play with all these tabs there's a lot of stuff you can change...
