There was 9 artists with a single called CRY Kym Marsh was the biggest that reached No 2 in 2003

The hit parade as it was called did not start till 1952

Johnny Ray had a monster hit with Cry in 51 before the Hit Parade as we know it existed. The records were 78rpm but the sales were still mainly sheet music :o)
