removing shampoo stains

My grandson has asked me to try and get some stubborn shampoo stains off his shirt! I soaked it in biological washing powder overnight - but no good - then I tried Ace but that was useless as well! Anyone any ideas please?

what about white vinegar or bicarb of soda? alternatively, you could use washing soda. You might need to scrub also.
