Not too sure about this, As 4getmenot said I prefer looking through one section instead of trailing through many sub catogories.

there is this annoying delay too after submitting a thread, it was starting to notice in the old ab but it will be more apparent now i think. Watch out for the ld multiple posting and ensuing banning lol
I dont like it at the moment, but then I dont like change, I'll get used to it. but at the moment way too much info for me to secretly scan through while at work :-)

Yeah Im same 4getmenot, got to keep an eye out for the bosses coming too close lol!
I like it!
I like the idea that I can narrow sections down to subjects which particular interest me.

Just think maybe it takes some getting used to? Once we have i'm sure we'll wonder how we managed without 'em!

And don't forget- folks were forever campaigning for sub-categories...so it's their fault if you're not happy with 'em ;-)
I think if you click on the main category, you get all the sub-categories.
If you wish, you can filter these down by clicking on a sub-category...
...at least I think that's how it works. :o(
and they could have just put pregnancy and parenting as one. way too many sections, some are rarely gonna get used, like family, radio, blah blah blah. and now we havent got reality tv section, tv is gonna be filled with big brother, x factor, and all the other cr@p
I find it very irritating - about 4 times as many pages to look through in the sections I'm interested in.

Unless it works as brachiopod says - I'm not sure it does, though.
Hey Catso... It does work like Brachi said, I've just tried it. I now have a stupid question on B&S but hey ho..... hopefully no one will notice ;0)
Or maybe not actually.... :0S
Just tried it out more carefully, and no, it doesn't. Each subsection is a section in its own right.

But it seems you can still post in the parent section above the subsections. So a question on any particular topic could be in either of two places.

This is going to get confusing.

I don't like it at all.
