What is the difference in DVLA terms between the "owner" of a vehicle and the "keeper" of a vehicle??

Take a company car for instance, you are the keeper but the company owns it
The registered keeper is the person(or company) whose name appears on the V5 Vehicle Registration Document. This is not necessarily the owner. The most common example is if you have a vehicle that you are paying off over, say, 5 years with a finance company, they are usually the legal owners until the final payment.
