Mentmore towers

Does anyone know what is happening to Mentmore Towers. The last I heard, planning permissionn was applied for to turn it into hotel and conference centre, but then these plans were put on hold. Is it just standing empty at the moment or is anything going on there.

I'm anxious to hear too. I think it's a waste that it's standing empty. I know local people had objections to the extra traffic it would create, but what about the extra jobs for the area? It would make a fantastic hotel.
