I felt so sorry for that poor alligator, desperate to get away from all the loud noise and crowds and back to its natural habitat.  First chance it got it dashed for freedom but no chance, dragged back.  And yes I know most of the people were living in poverty and have to make some money wherever they can.

I expect I'm the only one upset over an alligator.

Anyone else see this?

You weren't the only one upset over the alligator - but mistreating animals is the norm in many places and I hate it.  Apart from that it was interesting - but isn't Michael looking old and frail now ... probably because he is.  I imagine making that programme took a lot out of him.  Not the best place in the world to relax and enjoy.

Yes to your comments about Michael.  I was shocked when I first saw his face but I've checked and he'll be 81 next month so not so shocked now.  He lost his wife last year so doing this 3 part documentary must be helping him with his grief. Always think what a nice guy he is.

I hope we don't see any more cruelty to animals
