I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but does anyone actually know the amount of tea (in any unit) the United Kingdom drinks per day/week/month?

I'm just interested to know...

I'm not sure of the exact figure, but I've heard something like 100 million cups per DAY. Must be one hell of a tea-pot.

I only drink one cup of tea first thing in the morning - I then drink gallons (okay at least a litre) of water a day.

According to the United Kingdom Tea Council (and they should know) it's 165,000,000 cups a day which works out at about 1910 cups every second.
