I'm currently getting into female bands/songwriters/artists at the moment; I find they have a different spin on things. Found some good bands in rock (The Like) and folk (The Wailin' Jennys) but does anyone know any decent female artists for electronica or jazz (or any other genre for that matter)? Thanks for any suggestions.

Wailin' Jennys (fantastic) - more country (bluegrass) than folk. In a similar vein give the new Linda Ronstadt & Ann Savoy album a listen.
