Fibber Magee's (Fibbers) - at Robinsons, Great Victoria St, is a famous one. I have, however, never been there when they've got going. No doubt someone will have better suggestions

Are you in NI?

I do live in Belfast Pegasus - did have a wonderful social life as the entertainment not only encompasses all the places in town but when I was young there were loads of wee locals to go to and also the punters were wonderful singers - in my day I probably went out 5 nights a week - don't know how I done a day's work but I did and I had to bus it 4 times a day.   But I'd do it all over again.  But with the bombs all over the place I had to walk it home in "stilettos" buses were hijacked etc.  If I knew then what I know now I would have bought a ladies scooter - sister went mad and said "you would have been soaked to the knickers, I don't care I'd got to work with ease   LOL

Haha, Jinnyjoan, sounds like you had a real wild time in Belfast. I love the place and the people and hope to move there in the next 6 years.

I was last there at the begininging of Demember and dragged into watching the Glentoran v Linfield footy game (I don't follow football) and ended up in the Ulster Rangers Supporters club on the Shankill Road!!

The next night a group of Belfast lads told us one of the best pub/clubs to go to was the Union Street Bar, and took us over an hour to realise they had deliberately sent us to a gay club, which, according to doorstaff is what they do to groups of English out on the town  :)

yes that happened to me and my friend - we had had a meal and stayed on and it was a gay night and it was simply wonderful - brilliant craic and friendliness.

I've also been invited to go to the insanely huge bonfire night in Craigy Hill, Larne mid-July but will prob visit before then.
