I don't think so.  He's accusing the Conservatives of 'trying to find woke agendas in the very civic institutions they once regarded with respect'.  Well they don't have to look far.    I cancelled my subdcription  to the National Trust for that very reason.

Do you think that the whole culture wars have wafted over here from the USA? To me, it all sounds like Spads doing their stuff, and UK Spads must be well tuned-in to the world-leaders in all that stuff. Just my thought.

No I don't.  I think that in an effort to be seen to be 'inclusive' and 'tolerant', this country, to its own detriment, is losing the plot.

Impossible. If you gave him a good speech his delivery would render it hollow and dull. He would ruin even Churchill's brilliant oratory.
