Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Has anyone one here got an average of 3 or under over a long streak as I don't see how I can ever achieve that. I've tried various strategies over a winning streak of 100 + days but rareky get 2s which seem to be pure luck when I take a punt. I can't get my average down - I'm stuck at 4.0.

I think getting a mean average under 3, over many games, is very unlikely. A median of 3 is possible, but difficult. Mode is a lot easier.

Currently my mode is 3 and my ambition is for my median to be 3.

The mean (average) of a data set is found by adding all numbers in the data set and then dividing by the number of values in the set. The median is the middle value when a data set is ordered from least to greatest. The mode is the number that occurs most often in a data set.
