Hi!
I have just purchased some of the above and not really sure what I have to do with them! I am fairly new to card making and bought these because they were on offer (99p for 10) and thought I would be able to work it out when I got home.
The pack says "Embossed Diecut Shapes included" on the front and as far as I can see you just push these shapes out. Are you meant to colour in underneath? Or stick padded fabric?
I have tried looking for websites but can't seem to find any with pictures or instructions. Anyone who can lead me to one I will be very greatful.
They are for Christmas so I have a bit of time ;o)

Thank you for any help :o)

Buy some tissue paper and stick that to the back of the 'cut-out' area. If it's not too detailed, you could stick different colours behind separate bits. If you don't want to see on the inside of the card where you have stuck the tissue, stick a larger (the size of the card) piece of paper over that. But if you leave it open you'll get that nice translucent effect when the card is sitting on the shelf.

Why not use the bits you have pushed out to create the front pattern to create a patern on the inside of the card, or even on another blank card if your feeling adventurous.

In making your own cards the possibilities are endless, but sometimes I feel that the 'pre-cut' cards can be quite inhibiting to work with. Start with these, but next time, try buying a pack of blank cards, then you can go absolutely wild with glitter, sequens anything you like really!

I normally pick up pack of blank cards and envelopes in those 'Bargain' Book shops.

Have fun

Hi Rhona!

Ahh I never thought of tissue paper, thats a clever idea thanx!
I must admit I have been buying the card making kits where everything comes with it, but out yesterday with Hubby he found these packs, I wasn't going to get them because I didn't know what to do but he said it's only 99p!

Thanx I will have a go at what you suggested :o)
