I have a few left on this quiz which I am totally stuck on if anyone can help please. Three different sections.

Homophones.  No.6  Rook / Tolstoy  (No number of letters)

Centenary Round when al answers are about centuries and hundreds. No.5 In each direction, a slightly smaller square puzzle. No.6 Which Shakesperean character can be described as a cent-per-cent?   (No number of letters)

Geography - answers are places in Cumbria - No.3 Deadly sin in Illinois? No, its the other way round (7).  No.5 A variety of mixed pure staples (8).  No.6  Was this made for hopping? (4).

Thank you Fibonacci you are clever. Petland don't understand what yo are trying to say.  Just 3 left now. 

Geog No 6:
Are rivers allowed?  Kent is the county famous for hopping, and the River Kent is in Cumbria, so could that be the answer needed?

I thought petlands suggestion was a good offer. A rook is a chess piece, and Tolstoy wrote War and Peace. A homophone is where words sound the same but may be spelt differently. In this case, piece and peace.
