I'm sick to death of dealing with shop staff wearing these ear pieces, chatting away to each other and not taking a blind bit of notice of what your saying to them( thats because they cant dam well hear you) when did the customer become invisable and un-important well it seems a while ago now. Is there a real need for everyone in the shop to wear these ruddy things, they look as if they are working for MI5. If your lucky you may get a grunt out of them now and again. Ok, I'm resting now.:0(

nicebloke, totally agree. In most areas of the retail trade, stores and banks in particular, the customer is seen as a necessary nuisance. They go out of their way to make things as awkward as possible for their customers so that eventually they can close down all their branches and trade only on line.

Can I add checkout assistants who have looooooonnnnnnnng conversations with a customer, even after the customer has paid and packed their stuff, looking at you Aldi this morning!
