Me and my girlfriend owned 2 bugies.... 1 which we had for 6 months (Joey) And another which we have had for 1 month (Lola). Yesterday morning we came downstairs and both budgies where fine.. Jumping round cage usual budgie stuff. We went out (Me to Work, Girlfriend to college[Was about 11am]). My girlfriend came back at about 3pm for a hour (budgies were still fine). At 5pm she picked me up from work and we went home.... Too find Joey on the bottom of the cage on his back. And Lola staring over him Tweeting extremely loud. I picked Joey up out of the cgae and Lola bit me several times. (She has never biten before) Joey was definetly dead... does any1 know what may of caused this? Because obviously we dont want our other budgie to die. Now we know that Joey DID NOT die of old age because he was only a year old and the life span of a bugie is around 8 yrs.
Thanks

Sorry I don't know why he may have died but it might be best to have a word with your vet and get Lola checked.

I hope everything is okay with her.
