Good evening!

My body clock says that it can't possibly be a week since we last did this but my calendar says otherwise.  So here goes!

I scored my usual 'middling' FOUR out of seven in the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-67222333

. . . and a 'better than usual' FOUR out of five in the junior quiz:

Your turn!

Sorry, Scorpiojo.  I'm keeping all the Lego for myself ;-)

5/7 and 4/5 - couldn't believe the correct answer to the moon question - doesn't look a day over..........................

Question Author

Well done on those decent scores this week, Ken!

The Moon is roughly the same age that I feel I am sometimes ;-)

Nooooooo! 😡

Good day. Not a bad week for me - 5 for the main quiz and a very handy 5 in the childrens. Aggregate of 10, that won't last!

Just two in the adult one, a trained chimpanzee should do better on the law of averages!

4 in the kids one though

Looking through previous answers, I think I've done well. I thought the quizzes were easier this week but I suppose it's what you read and what you retain that makes the difference.

Our three remaining cats have settled down and chosen their sleeping spots for the next week or two, then it will be 'cat chess' as they all move round.

Hiya, JJ109!

I suggest brushing up on some news stories before next week's quiz 🐵

Hi, Roo!

Well done on taking top spot this week!

Your cats sound so lovely.  My lot seem to like sleeping in whatever places are the most inconvenient for me!  (For example, Moonbeam has been sleeping on the pillow on my bed for the past few weeks.  I've had to put another pillow, for my own use, at the other end of the bed, so that I can then sleep 'upside down').

All the best to you and your feline friends for the forthcoming week.

Thanks, chico. Our Tabby, Charley, was a bit off colour and spent the best part of a week sleeping in bed, under the covers with me. His claws played havoc and his purring kept me awake, he's also a fan of big wet kisses, which I'm not. It was fun when I needed to get out of bed as he's a sturdy cat and wouldn't move!

Question Author

It's good to know that I'm not the only one to always let cats get their own way, Roo 😺

2/7, 2/5.

it's getting a bit monotonous!!

Question Author

I think "consistent" might be a somewhat nicer word, Caran 😊

1/7, 3/5.

why do I bother!!!!

Question Author

One score better and one score worse than on Saturday, Caran ;-)
