Years ago, I was the FD of a company which had its head office in Stockholm. I used to go there regularly and I was inpressed by their "To do" list system.  It was a book of perforated sheets, about A5 size, on which you wrote the task, then ripped it out when the task was completed. Does anyone know if such things are available in the UK? Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry, I should have pointed out that each sheet had about 5 or 6 strips.

do you mean the one with the nice shiny wooden stand to hold the sheets?

Do you mean strips that are removed or just sections to write in?

This was a pad of paper sheets, each perforated to give 5 or 6 sheets, on which you wrote the task then ripped out the strip when the task was completed so that at any one time the strips left in the pad were either empty or were tasks still outstanding.

Post-It notes may have seen them off.

I was thinking that current use of hi-techy stuff might has seen their demise.

Ahhh... so if the strips were attached in the middle and not at the top they could be removed.

Post-It notes have more room.

Check out Amazon they have some but not sure if exactly what you want

I think this is a bigger thing in the states where sometimes people need a more tactile approach to their to do list rather than the multitude of apps.

Maybe the OP is just doing some market research because he didnt ask about where I got mine.

couldn't you make your own, using a spiral bound notebook?  You could use scissors to cut across, say every 5 lines down, from the the edge, to the metal spiral bit, which would create small strips for tearing off.

You could get a cheap one from the poundshop to try it out first.

Type

to do list notepad

into Google

Thanks to everyone who replied to me. I don't think that Post It notes would work because it would be difficult to remove any other than the top one.  A spiral bound note book would work although it would be a bit of an effort to cut each page first.  it's quite likely that they have been replaced by technology.  I haven't been to Stockholm for quite a while.

I was thinking using heavy duty scissors, you could cut throught about 6 to 10 pages with each cut.

Just had a thought - get a book of raffle (cloakroom) tickets and use the reverse of the ticket.

That's a good idea Tuvok.
