probably thought she was arrogant - I did!

you'd be Miss-taken then! Thought she was confident in her abilities and had every right to be. There's quite a lot of successful arrogant singers out there too.
I agree with Miss-taken - I'm not sure it's arrogance, but in my opinion, she came across as a little too sure of herself. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I think in her case there was a difference between being confident and happy with her singing ability, and almost assuming she had got through.

Saying that, I do think based on technical singing ability she was better than Ray, but he's got the personality I think the public will prefer.

You're right. He's an annoying scouse twit.
Ray will have a lot of fans who remember him from Brookside. He was a great child actor.

I refer you to my previous answer
I also refer people to supakev`s answer, and do not get me started on Dion going through!!!!!
I thought Gemma was arrogant. however, I found it odd that after Simon had mentioned her personality, he said that she was consistently good and that he knew he could rely on her, then....................................he told her she hadn't made it! Talk about building someone up for a fall!
