Not this year Tills but suffered with the problem for 2 or 3 years. Tried spray and removal of the pest by hand to no avail. It was an old hedge so we had it removed and after 2 summers had a new hedge planted. It is going well and is now establishing. We did not know about this stuff that seems to be a recommendation that is given on lots of sites.
It is a biological treatment marketed as TopBuxus Xen Tari(me neither).

Wouldn't know a buxus if I tripped over one. But most of my plants are attacked by one pest or another. Slugs & snails mainly, I believe.

No, but I've been to Westonbirt Arboretum a few times.

Yes Tills. Small individual plants only about 8inches high. 3 to a yard in a triangular formation. They have thrived and are now about 14ins high. Had their first top trim this spring and now filling the gaps nicely.
