I do feel sorry for Prince George having to sit through the men’s tennis final in his shirt, tie and jacket. I appreciate it’s an occasion to look smart but I had really hoped his parents would have move away from office attire for more leisurely occasions.

Formal v smart - what do you think for the next generation attending a tennis match?

Probably the dress code required by Wimbledon for those in the royal box
Yes just looked it up - shirt tie and jacket for men, women not allow to wear hats because they could obscure the view of people sitting behind

You’re probably right, it’s a very old fashioned institution, but it shouldn’t apply to a child should it?
I would think it’s a long time for any child to sit tbh
It's definitely correct Maydup, and apparently only royal children are allowed in the royal box.

He has to learn, doesn't he? It seems that he is being excused military service, so self-discipline, adherence to standards etc., need to be applied in other ways.
I believe Lewis Hamilton was ejected from the Royal Box for being improperly attired a few years ago.
He’s old enough to do what’s expected.
