My oldish Amazon fire is in a loop of opening then closing on and off till the battery is used up.
Is this a common fault?
Is it reparable or worth repairing ?

Tried that thank you but frustratingly it continued to promise to open by bringing up the unlock screen and in a few seconds went back to the opening loop.
