Sky+ box

Why has my Sky+ box started going 'on-line' most evenings between 7.30 and 8.00pm ish? It is not on for long and has only started doing this in the last couple of days.

If your box is connected to your �phone (as it should be) then it�sprobably just Sky spying on you!

It has always been connected but it is going bonkers with the connection thing at the moment.

Hi sherrardk. If this going on line is bothering you, then simply unplug the thing. I never have mine plugged in. Works perfectly well. You will however need to plug back in for box office etc.

Your box and Sky needs to communicate on a regular basis, this is called a call-back. If Sky is unable to connect to your Sky+ box you will be found in breach of your contract and will very likely get charged more money. Your box must be connected (via the phone line) 24 hours a day. People who don't connect theirs miss out on a lot of interactive features and extras.
