Think of the pension
that is what is keeping me going - whilst no where as good as when I joined 25 years ago - it is better than nothing so I am holding on to that
My first thought this morning was the opening line of George Orwell's '1984'. It was so frostily bright.

I did see that, I really looked forward to his shows. Parky chatting to Muhammed Ali and Rod Hull will always stay with me. Oh - and that awful Grace Jones.
He was the top of his field, and in my opinion still is.
Always great with Billy Connolly - who uttered the immortal words ' I felt as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit' Still makes me laugh to this day
Margo, I almost didn’t recognise him when I saw that picture this morning, he’s very thin isn’t he? I loved his Parky programme, he really had the knack for getting people to relax. To be honest, I thought Dicky Bird had died some years ago, he’s good for his age isn’t he?

You're right, I think Parky and Billy really hit it off. Good laughs.
