That was awful, Red... why bother about a gift ....she obviously doesn't appreciate anything you give her.

Rather than just flowers as a one off you can find companies that send a bouquet every month for 6 months or a year.
Buy her a plot in the churchyard, then you can say next year... You are not getting a present you didn't use the last one bought you...... The old ones are still the best... I think it was Les Dawson or Bob Monkhouse originally
