Corby - The amount shown is the gross amount. If you opt to pay the processing fee this is added to your donation and included in the total. Hence the figure being seemingly random numbers. We don't have an ability to change this.

I saw some users had asked if there was an alternative such as Bank Transfers, which we are looking into for those that aren't keen on the idea of a processing fee... Will give an update on Monday.

For us, DonorBox, which is our partner for processing donations, do a great job and given at the time of the introduction of the donations feathre it was a trial, we felt the fee was totally fair. We are of course open to alternatives but most options come with some sort of fee attached.
Corby - unfortunately it doesn't appear we can show the cumulative total - it appears to default to the monthly total. I'll speak to our partners to see if this is something that's possible.
Cheers Ed. I have no idea what has been paid each month so hadn't a clue how much had been donated to-date before you telt us.
Corby - I get that. We'd be happy to give a running total when needed if our partners can't add this feature.

‘ We don't have an ability to change this’

Mmm. Not exactly an incentive to ‘invest’.
The donations facility is via donorbox.org so they are the ones controlling the available options.

It would be helpful if the ED could set out the fee structure.

One person donating £100 pays a fee of £4.12 if paying by PayPal but ten folk each donating £10 by the same method pay £8 in total.

I would hardly call attending a very public event, personal life. But keep looking to see if you can really find anything about me or my family, that I may have posted on here. One or two things maybe, but nothing I wasn't happy to post. The serious stuff and any details about other things in my life will not be posted on this website. Or any other website, for that matter.
